Welcome to our wellbeing resources.

Our resources are organised around key wellbeing and engagement themes:

  • The big picture – resources which take a cross-cutting, holistic or strategic approach to the wider wellbeing agenda. This section also includes project guidance on designing and implementing workplace interventions and the findings of the project’s wellbeing and performance mapping strand.
  • Health – resources focussed around physical and mental health including physical activity, occupational health, nutrition and sickness absence
  • Communications and events – resources looking a how these elements can be used to enhance employee wellbeing and engagement
  • Leadership and management – Resources focussing on how good leadership and management practices can impact on health and wellbeing
  • Organisational culture – Resources centred around creating an organisational culture supportive of wellbeing including building engagement, the psychological contract and organisational values.

Each themed section includes: overview documents, which include tools and guidance drawn from across the range of project pilot interventions within that themed strand; Project pilot interventions, which include all the findings, details, tools and supporting documents related to each pilot intervention; research and reports; case studies; and presentations.

Mentoring

Subscribing institutions are able to access mentoring from our expert panel on areas of work relating to staff engagement, wellbeing and performance.

Our mentors include a wide range of professionals such as; HR Directors, Occupational Health Practitioners, Wellbeing Project Managers, Organisational Development Managers, Assistant Vice-Chancellors and Registrars.

Our mentors work in a diverse range of Institutions and offer a wealth of experience in staff wellbeing and engagement topics including:

  • Change management.
  • Coordinating HR policy with wellbeing strategy.
  • Creating strategic alignment and senior support for wellbeing.
  • Developing integrated support services for staff, models of support.
  • Employee relations.
